Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Vermilya spent several years in business and industry working as a chemist, technologist, and research manager for a major automobile additive and industrial fluid corporation.
His management of a worldwide technology transfer/ quality assurance program of a specialty fats and oils division enabled Randy to gain a real-world perspective of the challenges and rewards of the business environment. Randy’s background in business and industry has served him well in his ten years as an attorney. He brings a unique perspective to the legal practice with his the "been there and done that" insight that his technology and business clients face daily.

Philosophy

"The practice of law is more than forms, filings, and fees.  It is creating that unique relationship with the client to maximize the value of their business.  This is best accomplished by developing a partnership that understands the client’s needs, anticipates problems and roadblocks before they occur, addresses opportunities head on, and provides zealous and ethical representation.  My philosophy is based on nearly twenty years of working in business and industry before becoming a lawyer.  In short, I have been on the client’s side of the desk.  I understand the business world, the harshness of deadlines and budgets, and the daily effort it takes to become and remain successful.
